As many of you know, The Firm’s principal attorney, Ed Sisson, is currently attending the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 139th Annual Meeting in Barcelona.
As the meeting continued today, Ed enjoyed the opportunity to attend various educational sessions and to strengthen the firm’s international network by continuing to meet with attorneys from around the globe.
This evening, Ed was honored to attend a dinner celebrating the 35th anniversary of Calderon & De La Sierra, a Mexican firm with whom we have worked. As you may recall, working in concert with Calderon & De La Sierra, Ed met with Mexico’s Minister of Patents on behalf of a client. Ed’s work with Calderon & De La Sierra successfully resulted in the invalidation of our client’s competitor’s patent.
Ed looks forward to the last few days of the INTA Annual Meeting in Barcelona and to continuing to expand the firm’s international network at, among other events, the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property’s World Congress this fall.
