The Firm to Present Information Regarding Counterfeiting of Medina County Manufacturers’ Products

Sisson & Banyas, Attorneys at Law, LLC proudly announces its participation in the 2017 Made in Medina County Expo. The Firm will host a booth in the Expo’s Resource Room displaying information about all aspects of intellectual property including brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, trademarks, trade secret protection, patents, and copyrights.

Unique to the Sisson at Law booth will be information on counterfeiting activity and the impact it has on Medina County manufacturers. The Firm’s research shows that at least 1 in 5 Made in Medina County Expo exhibitors are likely being counterfeited online. Worldwide, counterfeit goods account for over $400 Billion in economic activity according to the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development’s (OECD) 2013 survey. Manufacturers wishing to find out if their products are being counterfeited, and what steps they can take to address counterfeiting are encouraged to visit the Sisson at Law booth at the Made in Medina County Expo.

Additionally, one of the Firm’s attorneys, Jeffrey Banyas, will be on hand to meet with attendees and exhibitors to discuss brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, trademarks, trade secret protection, patents, and copyrights. To schedule a private meeting with Attorney Banyas, please call +1 330 598 1799 or e-mail Kim Szabo at kimszabo@sissoniplaw.com.
