SEMA Export Fair

Attorney Jeffrey Banyas speaking on the
IPR Panel at the SEMA Export Fair

The Firm excitedly announces that one of our attorneys, Jeffrey Banyas, spoke at the Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Export Fair this afternoon. The Export Fair, which is designed for companies who want to reach new consumers by starting or expanding their exporting activities, takes place today and tomorrow at the SEMA Garage in Diamond Bar, CA.

Jeffrey, who was one of four attorneys asked to participate in this afternoon’s panel, spoke about international IPR enforcement.

According to Jeffrey,

Our firm has been on the leading edge of IPR protection and enforcement in the automotive aftermarket for several years now. I am always happy to share my knowledge and experience on this important topic with an industry for which I have so much history and passion.

Additionally, Jeffrey will participate in “Ask an Expert” sessions, during which he will meet one-on-one with companies attending the Export Fair.

As Jeffrey mentioned, Sisson & Banyas, Attorneys at Law, LLC has been on the leading edge of IPR protection and enforcement in the aftermarket automotive industry for several years. The Firm is a member of SEMA and exhibits at the SEMA Show each fall. Additionally, the firm’s attorneys have participated in “Ask an Expert” sessions at the SEMA Show and the Export Fair in the past, and one of the Firm’s attorneys attended SEMA’s international business development trip to the U.A.E.

Jeffrey personally authored two articles focused on IPR for SEMA’s monthly trade publication and was named one of SEMA’s “35 Under 35 Young Business Leaders of Tomorrow” in 2018. This was Jeffrey’s third time attending the Export Fair and his first time speaking on the IPR Panel at the event.

Jeffrey said,

I was honored to be asked by SEMA to speak on such an important topic as international IPR enforcement.

The Firm looks forward to continuing to serve the aftermarket automotive industry and to exhibiting at the SEMA Show again this fall.
